EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

This Saturday 18 June beginning at approximately 10 am we shall engage in an hour of Eucharistic Adoration in the Lady Chapel, concluding at 11 am. (This devotion follows regularly scheduled Morning Prayer at 9 am and Low Mass at 9:30 am.)

In this devotion -- also known as a "Holy Hour" -- the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in a monstrance on the altar for adoration by the faithful. The hour begins with a Litany of the Blessed Sacrament, and concludes with a brief service of Benediction.

The time in between is taken up in silent prayer and meditation before Our Lord's sacramental presence. This devotion is ideal for those drawn to contemplative prayer or the prayer of silence. Come experience the beauty of holiness.
