ANNOUNCEMENTS

Welcome to S. Stephen’s – especially to our visitors and guests! We’re glad to have you with us. Please join us for Coffee Hour following the 10 a.m. Mass in the Great Hall upstairs. If you have any questions or special needs, please speak to one of the ushers, who will be glad to assist you.

Independence Day (July 4th) – as on all Federal Public Holidays, Low Mass on Thursday 4 July will be offered at 10 am, preceded by Morning Prayer at 9:30 am.

Volunteers Needed – S. Stephen’s next turn for supplying the volunteers for the Epiphany Soup Kitchen (ESK) will be Saturday 13 July from 2:30-5:30 pm. If you can help, please let Bruce Lennihan know via email at michelleisgreat@comcast.net. We need at least 5 to 6 volunteers. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve Christ by serving the hungry.

No Bible Study this Sunday –
As Fr. Mead is away on Sunday 30 June, the Bible Study on the book of the Acts of the Apostles will continue on Sunday 7 July.

Sermons at S. Stephen’s Online – Beginning with Pentecost 2019, all sermons, including text and audio, will be available on the parish website for reading and listening at your leisure. We hope this archive of sermons will serve as a useful tool to aid you in your personal devotions.

“Mead’s Meanderings” – Beginning with the week of Trinity Sunday 2019, audio clips of Fr. Mead’s thoughts, reflections, and announcements for the coming Sunday (and week following) will be posted on the parish website under “Mead’s Meanderings.”

George Street Construction – George St. will be closed during weekday business hours until mid-August and parking between Thayer St. and Brown St. with no vehicle access to either the front or rear driveway. Parking on George St. will be restricted to 3 spots at each end. These will be marked “reserved for S. Stephen's.” If you are attending a noontime weekday Mass or have business in the church office, please get a "S. Stephen's Parking Pass" from the office and place it on your dashboard if you use these spots. George St. will reopen to two-way traffic around 4 pm each day, including access to our driveways for evenings and weekends.
