Guest Organist – we welcome Jeffrey Mills as guest organist this morning, filling in for James Busby, who is on vacation.
Saint Mary Magdalene (July 22nd) – a major feast of the church year will be kept this Monday with Evening Prayer at 5:30 pm, and Low Mass following at 6 pm.
Saint James the Apostle (July 25th) – a major feast of the church year will be kept this Thursday with Noonday Prayer at 12 noon, and Low Mass following at 12:10 pm.
Bible Study on Acts – Continuing on Sunday 21 July at 9 am, Fr. Mead is conducting a Bible Study centered around the book of the Acts of the Apostles. The group will meet in the parish library from here on out. We are using Bibles from the church, so all you need to bring is yourself and a desire to learn and grow together. All are most welcome and invited to join in the discussion!
Sermons at S. Stephen’s Online – Beginning with Pentecost 2019, all sermons, including text and audio, are available on the parish website for reading and listening at your leisure.
“Mead’s Meanderings” – Beginning with the week of Trinity Sunday 2019, audio clips of Fr. Mead’s thoughts, reflections, and announcements for the coming Sunday (and week following) will be posted on the parish website under “Mead’s Meanderings.”
George Street Construction – George St. will be closed during weekday business hours until mid-August and parking between Thayer St. and Brown St. with no vehicle access to either the front or rear driveway. Parking on George St. will be restricted to 3 spots at each end. These will be marked “reserved for S. Stephen's.” If you are attending a noontime weekday Mass or have business in the church office, please get a "S. Stephen's Parking Pass" from the office and place it on your dashboard if you use these spots. George St. will reopen to two-way traffic around 4 pm each day, including access to our driveways for evenings and weekends.
