FROM THE RECTOR
In this Sunday's Gospel, Our Lord answers the question put to him by the Pharisees: "Which is the greatest commandment of all?" His answer is known as the Summary of the Law: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself." In the Christian tradition, growth in the love of God, neighbor, and self is the threefold yardstick by which we measure progress in the spiritual life. Join us this Sunday as we explore the riches of this sublime teaching. -- Fr. John D. Alexander
