ONLINE PARISH NOTES
SUNDAY 8 NOVEMBER 2015
T. Noyes Lewis, The Place of Meeting, c. 1920 |
FROM THE RECTOR
On Remembrance Sunday we commemorate with a Solemn Requiem Mass the dead of two World Wars, all those who have given their lives in the service of their countries, and the victims of war in general. The Mass of the Sunday will be offered at 8 o'clock along with the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. The early service will thus include the celebration of new life in Jesus Christ; the principal service will focus our attention on the Christian hope for eternal life beyond the grave and gate of death. Please join us. -- Fr. John D. Alexander
