John Hart is Professor of Christian Ethics at Boston University School of Theology. He is the author of six books, including Sacramental Commons: Christian Ecological Ethics (2006), Cosmic Commons: Spirit, Science, & Space (2013), and Encountering ETI: Aliens in Avatar and the Americas (2014); he is also a member of the NASA Astrobiology Institute’s Astrobiology and Society Focus Group.
