PARISH NOTES
Sunday 1 April 2018

Fra Angelico, Noli me tangere, 1440-1442
Convent of Saint Mark, Florence

FROM THE RECTOR

Easter Day: or more precisely, the Sunday of the Lord's Resurrection. The discovery of the empty tomb and the subsequent appearances of the Risen Lord together signify a new reality, a new future, a new hope, a new joy. For those who receive the eyewitness testimony of the women and the disciples, nothing can ever be the same again. This changes everything. Whether you are an occasional visitor to S. Stephen's or a regular worshiper in our community, we welcome you to this joyous celebration of the Queen of Feasts. Christ is risen, truly risen. Alleluia. -- Fr. John D. Alexander
